Jewelry I Wear as a Mom (and Why I Stopped Wearing the Rest)

Before mom life, I wore jewelry that made a statement. Chunky rings, long earrings, breakable bracelets - because I could.

Today, things look a little different.

Now, my jewelry needs to be easy. It needs to survive quick mornings, a fast-paced schedule, and the kind of hugs that come with “Can I borrow $40?” Honestly? I’ve never loved my jewelry lineup more.

Stud Earrings Over Hoops

I used to be all about big hoops and dangly styles, but let’s just say I’ve dodged my share of toddler tugs and surprise hugs from teens who forgot I was wearing earrings. These days, it’s small, lightweight studs for the win — polished, practical, and impossible to mess up when I’m running late to a Parent-Teacher Interview.

One Go-To Necklace

I don’t switch necklaces daily anymore. I have one minimalist chain I keep on 24/7. It doesn’t get tangled in my coat or crossbody bags, and it layers easily when I do want to dress it up (read: girl's night at a restaurant).

Rings That Don’t Get in the Way

I used to wear a mix of bold rings, but now I lean toward stackable sets that are low profile and super wearable. Whether I’m typing at lightning speed, handing out advice, or just juggling another “Can you sign this?” moment — they never get in the way.

No-Fuss Materials

Sterling silver, gold-fill, or anything I don’t need to baby — because honestly, I don’t have time for high-maintenance anything. These pieces live in a bowl in the bathroom, not in a box I forget to open.

Jewelry used to be something I put on for other people. Now, it’s just for me. The pieces I wear every day are meaningful, functional, and comforting — and that’s exactly how I design for other moms, too.

If you’re in a season of simplify everything, I get it. And I’m designing with you in mind.
